I’m Marta – the heart behind Hidden Helvetia.

I came to Switzerland from Poland in 2021 for a corporate office job. While the structure and security were appreciated, I couldn’t ignore the quiet pull toward something more fulfilling—something rooted in passion, curiosity, and connection.

From the beginning, Switzerland captivated me—not just with its famous peaks and postcard towns, but with the places that many visitors never get to see. I found myself escaping on weekends to the lesser-known corners of this country, hiking along quiet trails, stumbling upon alpine farms, chatting with locals at village markets, and tasting regional dishes that told their own stories.

Food, culture, nature—these have always been the heartbeats of my travels. I’m a lifelong learner who loves discovering not just where to go, but why it matters. I believe the most memorable journeys are the ones that slow us down, open our senses, and make space for joy, reflection, and connection.

That belief became the foundation for Hidden Helvetia—a small travel project born from big dreams. It’s my way of sharing the Switzerland I’ve come to love: authentic, peaceful, rich in heritage and flavor. I plan curated experiences for individuals and small groups who want to step off the beaten path, relax into nature, and feel the soul of a place—not just see it.

Through Hidden Helvetia, I hope to help others experience Switzerland in a more personal, meaningful way—one slow adventure at a time.
